Passenger lifts
A passenger lift, also called a passenger elevator, is selected according to the building use, daily passenger flow and movement between floors. Explore the AKE E Line, Eco Line, Eco B Line, Gold Line, S Line and V Line families through their model pages. A model name alone does not specify capacity, speed or shaft dimensions: the selection must be checked against the actual project layout and operating requirements.

Capacity and cabin dimensions from the AKE catalogue
Catalogue variants for initial selection; these do not establish the technical limits of a named model. Use the current model sheet and approved layout drawing for your project.

Information for product selection
- Describe the residential, office or commercial use and passenger demand at busy times.
- Provide the number of stops, travel height, required load and entrance directions.
- Send shaft, door and cabin dimensions with drawings; confirm final values for the selected configuration.
- State whether this is a new building or an elevator retrofit. Describe a machine-room-less (MRL) layout request separately from a hydraulic passenger elevator or other drive requirement: MRL alone does not identify the drive system or shaft dimensions.
How do you select a passenger lift for an office or commercial building?
Assess the building use, passenger demand at busy times, number of stops and travel height together. Use these inputs to review E Line, Eco Line, Eco B Line, Gold Line, S Line and V Line; confirm the configuration against the project drawings.
Are cabin dimensions the same as shaft dimensions?
No; cabin and shaft dimensions describe different spaces. Read each row in the AKE catalogue tables on this page as one configuration: load, cabin, shaft and door dimensions belong together for the central-opening or telescopic door arrangement. Do not combine measurements from different rows. The tables do not establish the limits of E Line or another named model; check existing-shaft fit and entrance directions against the selected model’s current layout drawing.
What should a passenger lift or commercial elevator quotation include?
Identify the offered model and configuration together with load, stops, doors and cabin finishes. Ask which parts of equipment supply, transport, installation, building and electrical works, commissioning and maintenance are included. State the project country and existing-building constraints; compare the same scope before comparing the total elevator cost.
