Vocational schools at the secondary education level under the Ministry of National Education enable students to receive training while working in a field that matches their interests and talents. Built around practical training, the program offers young people the chance to work while they study.

As AKE, we have welcomed 5 students into our company under the Vocational Training Center MESEM program. During their training, the students will work 4 days a week in our Cabin & Control Panel department under the supervision of our master trainers, and after 4 years they will become qualified professionals in the elevator and escalator industry.

Vocational Training Centers, which provide employment-guaranteed education, accept enrolments after primary school in 33 fields and 181 separate branches at vocational high schools. MESEM falls within the scope of the 12-year compulsory education.

Businesses holding a master trainer certificate are allowed to employ MESEM students. Students who work at the workplace 4 days a week under master trainer supervision while studying receive, upon graduation, an internationally valid Europass certificate supplement that enables them to open their own business. They can also receive support from KOSGEB when setting up their own business.
