82 Units of AKE Products for the Izmir Metro

AKE products were chosen for the Izmir Fahrettin Altay – Narlıdere Metro.  AKE signed an agreement to manufacture 60 escalators and 22 lifts for the new transportation line consisting of 7 stations.

On the Fahrettin Altay – Narlıdere Metro, our heavy-duty model T escalator, which transports large numbers of people quickly and comfortably, and the V Line lifts, which stand out with their vandal-resistant, minimalist design, will be used.

With the new line to be completed, the total number of stations in Izmir's rail network will rise to 24 and the total length of lines to 28 km. The AKE escalator and lift installations are expected to be completed within 1 year and the line to be put into service.
