AKE Asansör, an elevator, escalator and accessibility systems manufacturing and sales company operating in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone, has completed the second edition of its Vocational Training Project. The project, aimed at training engineers and bringing them into the industry, lasted 3 months and the participating trainees gained experience in different areas.

The second phase of the Vocational Training Project that AKE Asansör runs to bring inexperienced engineers into the industry took place with 20 trainees selected from among 700 applications. Young female engineers made up 30% of the trainees.  During the vocational training, which lasted until May, the trainees worked in the elevator, escalator, accessibility systems and cabin & control panel departments. They also received training in the purchasing, production planning and logistics departments.

In the project, which is carried out with the support of İŞKUR and has seen intense demand, the engineers who gained experience at the end of the training will begin working within the company.
